The UK Youth Parliament
Hillingdon Youth Council supports the work of the UK Youth Parliament.
The UK Youth Parliament is an organisation that aims to give the young people of the UK, between the ages of 11 and 18 a voice, which will be heard and listened to by local and national government, providers of services for young people and other agencies who have an interest in the views and needs of young people.
The UK Youth Parliament Elections
The UK Youth Parliament requires Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) to represent other young people in their Local Boroughs. These are democratically elected.
The UKYP currently has over 250 elected Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs). Our current MYPs are Katie Clipp and Nick Cooper, both from Haydon School.
